Well, you won't have any problem beating them then, when you come to Tuscaloosa... right?

Probably not. Hugh Freeze is known for calling plays and beat Bama in their own house.

So you are saying if you don't count Alabama's best 42 years, then Auburn looks pretty good against them? Fascinating.

Could Kiff had swaggered his way through the halls and kept them somewhat whole ?

Yes. Kiffin would have been great for the job. Already has the Saban “protege” experience. Could have brought in hype on Bama scoring points, which probably keeps Sayin and lands Ryan Williams. Kiffin also has many connections to SEC experienced coaches (along with people in the NFL). And he knows how to recruit and work the portal during the NIL era.

Kiffin is a firecracker, but he would have been the easiest transition. DeBoer is a disease.

When Alabama is playing in the SEC championship game, the melt here will be hilarious

LOLOLOLOL. We are past that. Some of you are so brainwashed by their success it’s like people think the Alabama uniform wins games.

By signing a top 5 recruiting class, out recruiting Saban for instate recruits and flipping Ryan Williams and Perry Thompson?

Hugh Freeze destroyed Alabama.

Auburn's record is good no matter how you spin it. The fact you have a lead because of the best two coaches in the history of college football bodes well for Auburn going forward. Your gap is shrinking.

What makes you confident in saying this? Auburn had more success than any other SEC school against Bama during the saban era

You mean you hope the gap will shrink in the future? Because it has most definitely been expanding.

Within one week he's begun tearing down everything Saban built over seventeen years and making it over into the image of the program he had cobbled together at UW over two years, and which was about to drop off a cliff this upcoming season. Pretty incredible to watch happen in real time.

DeBoer ain't him. Will you have enough players to field a team next season?

And its just beginning. Its only been 9 days. There are three more weeks of portal transfers, followed by spring transfers. Bama may have to cancel their spring game if this keeps going

Julian Sayin is the best Qb in the country and will lead Bama to the promise land once again

That is yet to be seen. But I know he won’t lead Alabama to defeat against New Mexico State.

Disagree. It was the right hire. There’s risk in any candidate and Deboer is no different.

They went out and had the balls to get the coach that was just in the national championship.

He’s hired two people away from their jobs as head coaches to come coach with him

There are 76 players still on the roster who were there when Saban retired. Let’s wait til the portal opens for everybody in the spring - not just open season on Bama - then you can flame away.
