Before the playoffs Saban made the comment that it's easier being a NFL coach these days
I knew right then and there he was all but done
I do think he had another 2/3 years left if he wanted but an expanded playoff means more games and a longer season
Players are gonna want more money if you are asking them to play as long as the NFL season
You might have players opt out before playoffs if you don't give them more money in NIL

nfl would always be my preference. even before nil, having to recruit 18 year olds sounds like a nightmare.
