We'll see the real Dabo when Clempson gets absorbed into the Big 12 or B1G...or even *gulp* SEC? ACC is dead man walking, you just refuse to see it.

You know it’s bad when all of Alabama’s SEC opponents take a break from trying to trash the hire to clown you instead. Yikes.

Interesting. Wonder how that turned out for them.
Better than it did for FSU.

I admit, I really thought it was going to be Dabo. Not sure what talks he had, but it was very quiet from his side last week.
Dabo was never even considered.
Same with Kiffin, for alternative reasons.
They would’ve hired an assistant coach before considering either guy.
Only five who were considered were Kirby, Sark, DeBoer, Lanning and Norvell.
Kirby and Sark were obviously good where they were.
DeBoer was offered early and from the sound of things was told by Sexton to hold on announcing so he could get the other guys raises.
Lanning had a $20M buyout so wasn’t a priority and Norvell was was the backup plan and likely would’ve had an offer if it fell through with DeBoer.
