Someone Explain to me something.

We are still in the original window that Byrne promised ... 72 hours. There hasn't been one official statement. There hasn't been one statement by a supposed candidate that they were offered.
All there has been is internet chatter or commentary.

So why are we so upset again?

You’ve been here for awhile, you already know the answer.

This thread is ridiculous. We are in hour 38 or 39 of an unofficial 72 hour timeline and folks are acting like we are about to hire an assistant from Bumfrick U

It's the microwave culture!! Everybody was sure a successor was already hired as soon as Coach Saban announced his retirement. And now we're not even TWO full days into who the AD wanted on his list and the ship is sinking!! I would imagine the staff is keeping the players informed since we haven't seen a mass exodus from them.

I'm losing it after reading 130 pages... when did he say this again? I just can't find where he directly said 72 hours.

Because frick you, that's why.

Nah, just kidding. It's because we're fricking nuts. Most of us are old enough that we know what living in the basement is like. Combine that with the new landscape of college football, and it's no wonder tensions are high.
