Agreed. Following Saban is something you'll only survive if you want to do it. If you have to be talked into it you're probably going to fail. It's a monumental task and only someone with massive balls and endless confidence will be able to pull it off successfully.

I actually think the program is in such great shape that the next HC will be successful out the gate no matter who it is.
A guy like Norvell or DeBoar could be our Coach O.

I agree with this. We want someone who reacts positively to the pressure. Even before Saban, there was talk about the high expectations at Alabama. Both Perkins and Curry left largely because they couldn't handle it. When Saban arrived, he said "I know you have tremendous expectations. I want you to know that I have even higher expectations for what we can accomplish." A real winner relishes being at a program that has massive expectations and intensity.
