Nothing has changed my mind, pretty sure the ball is in Lanning's court. I think it is whether or not Oregon convinces him to stay at this point.

Curious to know if he really makes a statement today.

See now this is what I would not do...

Get in a back and forth over Lanning.

He would be a yes or no with me.

I think there's no chance we get through the day without knowing if it is or isn't Lanning. Lots of speculation for about 16 hours now and he hasn't said anything. That tells me he's probably open to it at the very least.

Sources also said that Byrne asked the players to wait 72 hours before making any decisions about their future. That tells me he has a lineup that he's working through, and it lends credence to the Lanning is up, Kiffin is next theory.
