Iowa 's defense looks like this against everyone. They are the real deal. Nico is playing very well but the oline is missing too many pieces today.
You notice they don't substitute?

Same guys almost every play

One thing the Iowa defense is REALLY GOOD at: keeping lane integrity while rushing the passer.

Otherwise the kid would have 200 yards rushing. But yeah, they're good at rushing the passer AND making sure the QB can't scoot upfield up the middle.

I believe all the crootin people are ok with it and given the immense resources around him to help with it to whatever degree it needs help no I am not concerned about it You people would find flaws in Jesus Christ himself

Understanding it can be mitigated is not the same as not concerned.

And if Jesus was going to start in the SEC at QB without the meat to take a pounding I would be concerned.

So next year you have to recruit another starter that gets a redshirt year.

We already have Merkilinger (spelling?) committed to be a true freshman next year and we are a virtual lock to get George McIntyre for the year after that

Both are at least 4* QBs who may be or become 5*s before it's all said and done so I think we are just fine

Gaston Moore is a very serviceable backup as well as far as I'm concerned, he knows the offense very well

I was thinking about getting a safety, but this is better.
