Somewhere both Johnny and Phil smiled at that I-formation.

No, that would be Tony Robinson or Jimmy 'the Sylva Streak' Streater.

How/why did Heupel start Milton over Nico all year?

It's not real clear but I think most of us knew it was the wrong call

I think it's 2 possibilities possibly
Both at the same time:

1. Josh is big on rewarding loyalty and upper class men. Joe stuck around when 90% of other guys would've bailed after Hooker beat him out

2. Rumors Nico's family wanted him to redshirt. May be true, may not

I will say at some point you may have weighed risk/reward and decided this years team wasn't worth a year of Nico's eligibility or playing behind a very shaky OLine as a freshman.

Personally I'm not wild about that thought process bc Nico is incredibly unlikely to use all his eligibility anyways but who knows

IDK man. You watch Nico he's downfield as soon as he steps. I know those guys were fast but Nico goes from 1st to 5th in a step.

Two TDs is an insurmountable lead for the Iowa offense!

The last time we played a non-Californian true freshman in a bowl?

We’ve equaled half of the rushing TDs Iowa has allowed all season in one half.
