For posterity, the Big Six is considered:

Alabama
Auburn
Georgia
Tennessee
Florida
LSU

There is a constant reshuffling of these programs in the upper tier of the SEC. What do you foresee happening in the next ten years? Personally, I think Auburn is on the come and will win five national championships in the next ten years. Saban is about to be retired by his friend Freeze, so a bit of a changing of the guard. Florida needs to flush everything down the toilet and start over.

I’m not sure about 5 National Championships in 10 years but I think 3 is likely. We probably lose in 2 NC games as well.

Y'all really are ate up with the dumbass. What has that turd done to make anyone believe he is a championship caliber coach? He's a scumbag on the recruiting trail and that's it. 4th and 25 and 4th and 31 sink any idea of him winning championships.

I really think Auburn winning 5 NC's over the next 10 years is selling them short. I think it will be closer to 8. Freeze is a God fearing man as he repeats always, I just can't see him screwing anything that messes this up.

Ole Miss is closer than AU at the moment. It's a shame, with the talent laden state that it's in, that Florida is in the shape it is right now.

Auburn won’t make the playoffs 5 times in the next 10, much less win 5 NCs.

They clearly have something spilling into the water in Auburn. Their whole fanbase has gone full retard on this board.

Now that Jerry Kill has stepped down I like Auburn's chances a lot more.

Just like when Charlie Weatherbie paved the way for Saban’s run?

Next year Auburn will be on the edge (9-3/10-2), but in future seasons we'll be a staple of the 12-team playoff. In fact, I doubt AU misses a playoff moving forward, and is at worst in the final 4 every year.

I really liked Gus Malzahn, but he always struggled with roster management, and didn't seem to evolve enough offensively over the years. His scripted offense - which was the first 2-3 series of games - were always solid, but AU would regularly struggle to score TDs afterwards against good teams. We also kicked entirely too many FGs under Malzahn.

With Freeze, he can obviously recruit. Additionally he doesn't struggle with the roster management element. Auburn will also see an uptick in skilled athlete recruitment outside of our consistent RB performance (QB, WR, TE), and Freeze has an advanced pass game, particularly compared to Malzahn.

It is amusing that UA, UF, & UGA are all back to the 'Auburn is cheating' routine, now that we've had some success (as is the case historically) recruiting against Saban and Smart. Especially because cheating doesn't really exist in CFB any longer. It will likely get a lot worse as we get the series records against UA and UGA back to par, along with all the SEC and National trophies in the next decade.

I’m not reading that wall of text.

TLDR: It’s easy for AU fans to talk trash when they haven’t won a damn thing. They can create hypothetical future success, or find moral victory nuggets throughout the failure of their season. That’s all they have.

Apologies that reading words is so exhausting. I don't have that problem, Crimson_Chaos. I spend most of my day reading voraciously.

Auburn is trailing by 13 wins in the overall series vs. UA. We've had plenty of historical success. I don't argue about Alabama's success. It is apparent, and maybe a couple of programs can match Alabama's hardware. But to say Auburn 'haven't won a damn thing' is silliness. But you do you.

What I'm getting geared up for as an Auburn alum is the can of whip-arse Auburn is about to put on UA when Saban retires. I suspect something like 50/50 and battling for championships while Smart is at UGA.

Don't forget Auburn lost to New Mexico State big at home.

So splitting 50/50 with UA is your big dream? That’s pretty sad, and by no means considered “whip-arse”…

Also, this is where your complete delusion kicks in. There may be a run by AU in the future, but don’t oversell your capabilities. It’s very rare for any program to consistently compete for championships. You will never do it with the longevity UA has, and you won’t be do it for multiple years like UGA. You may have a surprise year, but that’s about it.

Finally, the fact that you mention your losing record against UA in your opening comments proves that UA is the measuring stick of success of your program. Nothing screams “little brother” more than that.

No, the 50/50 was AUs competition with UGA while Smart is there. I suspect 8-2/9-1 for the next two decades against Alabama, especially after Saban joins Jimmy Johnson in Florida.

No Auburn alum takes the "little brother" jabs seriously. It is childish. We are a top 12-15 program historically. We have 9(?) SEC Championships in football, and two National Championships. If we use Alabama math we have six National Championships. I'd like to use Alabama math!

I'm not here to win friends or make enemies. I'm simply sharing what I predict, based on the shuffling that has always taken place with the Big Six SEC programs from decade to decade.
