Hugh Freeze’ official record at Ole Miss sits at 10 - 25, 6-21 in SEC games. That isn’t very good. But my stats above were actually results on the field, they don’t count the vacated wins. If we look at Freeze 4 years at Liberty, which were very successful, do you know how many seasons there he didn’t lose at least one game to an unranked team? He is consistent. Again the answer is zero.

In 10 seasons as a division one head coach, he has never managed to go undefeated against the unranked teams on his schedule. He has had at least one loss to an unranked team every year.

Yes, he has had some huge wins. And some very good seasons. The only think that kept a few of them from being great seasons was him shitting the bed and losing to an unranked team or two. Every. Single. Season.

And that is what he will do at Auburn. Excuse me, that is what he is already doing at Auburn.

But he will recruit well. And now with NIL, he may even manage to do it without getting Auburn put on probation.

Thats amazing. So Auburn with elite talent year in and year out with Freeze at the helm. I'll take that anyday.

Half the people on this board weren't alive the last time our football team was on probation.

I said when Freeze was hired his salary looked low in comparison to what other SEC coaches were getting and I believed that was due to putting more funds into NIL.

Records and whatnot before NIL will be looked at like records before integration. Those records will be looked at as less than. I tried to tell y'all the facilities don't mean anything anymore, the championships don't mean anything anymore. Now, it's about money, player development/coaching, and playing time. Guys aren't willing to sit for more than a season when they can go elsewhere, play, be developed, and get paid as much or more than Bama can pay.

And, it's not just Auburn but I'm noticing we aren't getting much out of south Florida as we have in the past and I have no doubt that's due to Miami's NIL.

If you think this current Bama staff is built for the future of college football I imagine you're satisfied. I simply don't believe this is a staff built for the future. Lastly, parity is a process. We are in the process of parity settling among Power 5 football programs. This is a process that will take a few years but it's happening.

Hopefully for Bucky, NMSU won't be on his schedule this year.

Jimbo had the #1 recruting class and it meant nothing. Jimbo is also a much more accomplished coach than Freeze.

Some may call it apathy. Ags showed how motivated kids & coaches getting paid premium, guaranteed $ are.

Pure Copium. Freeze is cherry picking from Bama's class. Did Jimbo ever flip your guys? Cant recall

A National Championship is impressive but other than that year he is not. Jimbo hasn't been a well thought of coach since the year before he left FSU in shambles. These comparisons are meaningless babble.

Jimbo isn't as good of a coach as Freeze. Jimbo wrecked 2 programs. Freeze hadn't wrecked one.

Didnt they say the same about Jimbo at A&M? Hell is there anyone left in that class? Thats what happens when the only thing you offer is money and no future

History will show that the flip of Rueben Foster to Auburn will go down as the single-most important event in changing the perception of the little/big brother roles in college football in the state of Alabama. Mainly because of what this manchild beast will do inside Jordan-Hare Stadium and the publicity that has surrounded the flip (press conference, tattoo, etc.). Not to mention the laundry list of fellow defensive recruits that are salivating at a chance to play with this wrecking ball on the field. This guy's magnetism and mentality are no different that Cam's. Both are once in a generation players and we'll have had them in Orange in Blue in a span of four years. I've never seen a time in which truly informed Alabama fans, not the toothleess Wal-Mart Muldykes, have been in such anxiety and agony over the direction of the Auburn Football program. I love every second of it, and they see what's happening and can't do anything about it. When you treat your players as family members and they play for you out of respect and admiration, things like 28-27 happen. When you have players that fear their coach, see rampant gray-shirting, bogus medical departures and wonder if they will have their scholarship the following year, things like a 24-0 complete meltdown implosion against your hated rival happen. It all starts at the top and CGC will go down as a legendary coach in college football history, not just Auburn history, Book It. I tell all of the Bammers without hesitation that CGC will win more national championships at Auburn than Satan will at UTea. If you hook me up to a polygraph while saying it, I would pass because that's how much I believe it to be true. The perception of Auburn Football in-state and on a national level is changing. September 1st is about to open the country's eyes as to what tenacious Auburn football is all about, and I can't wait to watch the look on little dabo's face. These are great times to be an Auburn Tiger. A dynasty is in the making, and if you don't see it, you don't have a clue. War Damn Chizik and War Damn Eagle.
