That isnt guaranteed. Wed probably have similar success w NIL. We cant even win our OOC games

I lived through the swc days, no thanks.
Win the conference and get skull drug by any decent OOC team in a bowl. The 1960s wouldn’t come back.

They'd have a much better chance of winning the new Big 12 than the new SEC but the money difference probably wouldn't be worth it.

Not trying to be an a hole. My perspective as a transplant to ark. A lot of older folks have memories of SWC days. Those who don’t, a lot of old media types continue to reference those days. Nothing wrong with that if given the context. Using NEB as an example, they are a top 10 program throughout history. That’s who they were not who they are. Will they ever return to that level of dominance, probably not. The league and advantages they had to get to that ranking are gone. Can they become competitive, sure. But fan expectations need to be realistic and not hamper the program. Changing coaches every 3 years is not a strategy. Get a coach you can get behind and give him time.

We will suck in football no matter where we are. May as well stay and get a share of the TV money. We can play a little basketball and baseball and be competitive.
