So what’s the deal with the green kid. His stats are pretty shitty in a bad conference, why do the coaches think he’s going to light it up in the sec?

Petrino offered him out of HS.
People remember Mallett, Wilson, Brohm, and Jackson but forget all the headscratchers he signed her and at Louisville.
Part of it is just the numbers of QBs on the roster, other is simply different types of QBs to run the scout team imo.

Petrino is a good evaluator. He got Mallett, Wilson, Brandon Allen, and even Brandon Mitchell who didnt do too bad after he transferred

Ask Petrino?
If he comes here and doesn’t work out we get to blame Bobby P

His stats are prett meh, but he is supposed to be a very high ceiling untapped gem type.
He looks almost just like Matt Jones when he runs and Bobby has been after him since he was at Mizz State.
Jayden Daniels was a 10YD/10INt guy at AZ state when he got to LSU, so people are thinking he turn into basically a monster under Bobby.
I trust Bobby P when it come to QB talent evaluation over almost anyone else in CFB.

Jerard rumblings that the Aggy boosters are now sitting in their pocketbooks after all the mercenaries took their $$ and ran.

I wouldn't question petrino on QB choices.
I wouldn't question Pittman on oline offers.
I wouldn't question whoever is identifying TE talent currently.
The punter guy, he's suspect.

I don't blame them.
I never want to hear another player bitch about fans or fan loyalty ever again when they're year-to-year free agents/mercenaries always looking for the bigger, better deal. After all, we are just rooting for laundry now.

I’d laugh, but it’s destroying the sport

Wait until the wall is broken where they have to sit there in the pressers and answer to personal criticism, like other pro athletes.

The sport was already being destroyed.
Coaches getting paid 20-75 million dollars to be incompetent is a sign of a morally corrupt system.
Yall out here talking about "players' attitudes." GMAFB.

I tend to believe that the money earned by the players isn’t everything, but the relationship with the coaches is a bigger deal.
Kind of like employees leaving a job because of bad management to take a job making less money with better management.
That’s why I believe Pittman’s people skills & ability to build strong relationships with players is such an underrated X factor in the NIL era. But then we combined his strengths with Petrino’s strengths…

This is my hope, but I see the exasperation in Pittman's demeanor considering NIL and Tampering. Then the Enos factor didn't help. I have now heard from someone who knows, that the rumors were absolutely true. He would not use the plays practiced and as if he was on purpose trying to get fired. It worked. Sounds nuts to do so.. but???
Low in NIL bucks
OC who goes against the grain
A Kennedy love affair
Tampering...
I am usually a glass half full typer of dude, but with the above, it will not be an easy task. We need the NIL up to par to at least be mid SEC with petrino's Offense.

I'm not the one up here comparing us to Ohio State and acting like it's the same situation guys....
You'd have to be a fricking moron to think that....
I think Pittman and team did a shite job evaluating talent or recruiting one and Pittman had all but admitted it with his we need better players comments toward the end of the season....the washout rate were seeing and lack of development of these players is also not helping.....

Stupid. It took Kirby 5 years to get enough back ups to flip it into a power house that won national championships.
Of course had at least won the East and the SEC by his second year.
Also it proves the culture isn’t conducive to winning championships just based on money. I still believe that’s why they lost, you brought in a bunch of non gelling mercenaries without a foundation to keep them in line.

This has been a constant throughout arkansas' time in the sec. Misses, busts, and washouts.
Arkansas does well when they have a large influx of capable instate and local talent (Tulsa- Springfield area)
The rest of the rosters have been diamond mining in Georgia, Florida, and Texas.

Every good roster I can remember has been built like this. With an Arkansas in state QB that plays out of his mind, Mallett/Wilson/Jones/Allen… Archer is a must for us.
I can’t think of one hit for us from STL, Memphis, NOLA areas, I’m sure I’m not remembering some. It’s always Texas, Tulsa and some Mississippi kids, that I can think of.
