How big of a hurdle are the “Aggie Traditions” proving to be during this coaching search?
If the Aggies could have Saban, Smart, etc. (Or whoever they believe is the best candidate) but the coach demanded that the Milk Men had to go, would that be accepted by the fanbase or a deal breaker?

Gay or not, I would hope that their traditions mean more to them than bringing in a coach that required them to drop them. All traditions matter to me in CFB. It's what makes this sport unique and weird, and I'm down with the weird.
Except the Tom Petty shite. UF, stop that. Jesus frick, just stop it.

All the money in the world can’t buy success at that shite hole

If by “Aggie Traditions”, you mean "frick ups that were born to lose".. then yes, this is proving to be a very large hurdle.

I tend to agree
Plenty of power house schools have their own quirks that make them unique and it definitely adds to the sport as a whole
However, the Aggies seem to have a few cringy traditions that would seem to be more than just a speed bump for Alpha Dog athletes and coaches and for a school/ fanbase that clearly shows the want and desire to win I can’t help but wonder if this discussion ever happens inside their walls behind closed doors

You saw they just arrested a pedo that was member of their senior staff. There has to be a ton more who share that crap.
So behind their closed doors is immorality.

I'm sure it does.
Hell, I cringe Everytime I see a video of that jackass "calling the Dawgs" in that Indianapolis restaurant back in '21.
I'd like to have a discussion about that, lulz.

They have absolutely nothing to do with the coaching search.
That stuff only matters on this message board.

Really?? Their traditions are stupid. They should see it as 'being set free'

Wasn't that Brian Hoyt from 680?

I don't even know, rig. I couldn't even make it all the way through. Ha!
It's one thing to do it in a game environment or in a related setting, but putting people through that that are trying to enjoy a dinner ain't my bag.
Hell, the other diners may have even gotten a kick out of it, but my cringe trigger is high when it comes to that shite.

This is a terrible year to be in search of a coach. LSU, Notre Dame, USC, Oregon, Florida, Auburn, UT, Oklahoma, and others have made new hires very recently. Anyone worth replacing Jimbo turned down at least one of these schools (all of which are better jobs than A&M). A&M’s only X factor is money and utter desperation to win. Unfortunately for aggy it’s a loser culture down there, and the large contract + hefty buyout neuter the revolutionary impulse of the coach who will need to wage war on the narcissistic, gay culture at aggy in order to find success.
