Just wait when Colorado gets ready to fire him after a couple more 3-5 win seasons (or worse).
That's when the fun will really start.

I'm enjoying watching the train wreck.

Yea, it's been funny seeing the swag slip. But dude he inherited worse and replaced more than even kelly at LSU, and that is a big feat.
He's won multiple game when the Pac 12 really has peaked. He's done well. There's no doubt on it.

Honest assessment, their season so far has gone just about what I predicted, (5 wins) but improvement over one win the year before was virtually guaranteed simply because of Shedeur and Travis following him there. Sanders proved himself at the HBCU level but allowed himself to get waaay too overconfident in his methods after beating the team that played for a national championship the year before in game one. It would be far too easy to say he doesn't have what it takes to coach P5 college football, but one season at a program that had to be built back from the ground up isn't enough data to go on. We'll know how serious he is about coaching if he sticks around after his boys move on to the NFL

10 out of the last 11 years Colorado had 4 wins — last year was an anomaly with just 1 win. Did Deion really improve the program? All of the extra hype and he failed to beat a single team with a winning record

During the Buffs' bye week he went to his ranch for the week. Basically a mini vacation. What other HC in college football took a week off mid season bye week? There wasn't anything he could have been doing to improve his team?

He was a media creation. He's no coach.

Lots of clicks no quality wins. Made a bunch of kids change schools and will leave in another year.

quote:How do you know he wasn't? 21st century technology means game film isn't tied to the football facility these days, and face to face is possible by Zoom. Of course I agree it's not a good look and he should have been living at the football facilities during the bye like most other coaches, but we don't know his reasoning behind doing that, or most things he does tbh.

Not bad. Pretty much the same as Mike MacEntyre did 10 years prior.

it reminded me a lot of the XFL: it drew a lot of eyeballs to what was for the most part a shitty product.
Next year I want to see how many viewers/fans/celebrities show up.

Sanders is not an Xs and Os coach.
This. He's not that good of a HC. He may bring in some talent, and perhaps a good motivator, but that's all I see so far. I watched some of the highlights of their games... no adjustments.

I wonder what percentage of those viewers tuned in hoping to see a live train-wreck?
Apparently not many, they went from an avg of 7million viewers to 700k watching Washington State drill them by 30+.

Prime did a good job. The program had nothing before he arrived.

He improved the win total and was competitive against several ranked opponents
I’d say a solid job

On right track but haven't been same since blowing that big lead. It took something out of them.
