LSU has been the underdog in every game vs Bama since Saban got there other than 2007 (I think LSU was a 6 point favorite.

2008 Bama -6
2009 Bama -7
2010 Bama -6.5
2011 Bama -5.5
2012 BCS game Bama -3
2012 Bama -7
2013 Bama -14
2014 Bama -6.5
2015 Bama -7.5
2016 Bama -7
2017 Bama -20.5
2018 Bama -14
2019 Bama -5
2020 Bama -28
2021 Bama -28
2022 Bama -13.5

Bama has on average been favorite vs. LSU by -11 in those 16 games played starting in 2008. LSU won 4 as a straight dog, 2 in Baton Rouge (2010 and 2022) and 2 in Tuscaloosa 2011 and 2019. So in LSU's 4 wins, we have been on average about +7.5 dawgs against Bama.

Now the only games where I felt officiating was questionable was the 2009 game in Tuscaloosa and the 2014 game in Baton Rouge. The 2009 Patrick Peterson game where if that is an INT, LSU has the ball in damn good field position with if I remember about 4 minutes in the game and only down 21-15. Do they score maybe not, but then again we did not get the chance. The 2014 officiating was straight horse crap.

Outside of that, from my perspective the games have been generally fairly officiated. Like BK said last year, rather than relying on a 50/50 call to to ur way vs Bama, make a play yourself and take it out of the officials hands.

So you all are at home and from what I see opened a -6 favorite. Based on that I think most of the prognosticators are going to pick Bama to win and the oddsmakers once again, just like every game going back to 2008 have made Bama a favorite, albeit lower than the -11 point mean over those 16 games.
