I know it’s an exhibition game. But loved what I saw from this team if this isn’t their ceiling and I don’t know about y’all, but I definitely cherished a W in October.

Only W we've seen this month.
Team looked good against a top program. Hope this team comes together fast and we take it to Duke in a few weeks.

I think this team only gets better. Purdue had their whole team back and we basically assembled a new roster.

Agree. They look a lot more business. They keep gelling, they’re a force. Good test of where we are and where we can improve against a great team.

To be fair, that means Muss had their tape and they didn't have ours, and we know what Muss can do with game tape.

I know he'd play good down the stretch last year but this team is better without Devo out there.

Blasphemy.
He is one of the best defensive guards in the country. He has nights when he is subpar on the offensive end, but he shows up in the games that matter.

It's not just the subpar offense. It's the stupid crap he does. Stupid turn overs because he's trying to make a highlight. If he tries another full court pass to a covered player and turns it over I just might hurt myself.

I suspect he won't have to try as much this year. With all the youngsters last year, he tried to do too much. His leadership and defense will be important.

Dude, our tourney success over the past 3 years is almost entirely on Devo. Moody disappeared NSJ was trash.

Probably because his offense isn’t subpar. He became a pretty efficient 3 level scorer last year. He shot 41% on threes in conference games.

The implication that Devo puts himself above the team is bullshite. Banworthy IMO. Did you not see him dive head first into Edey going for a loose ball yesterday?
Does he make some bad plays? Absolutely - so did Notae. So did Ellis and Mark yesterday. Down the stretch last season Devo had a positive +/- for 18 of the last 25 games.

As if this is some sort of trend? 90% chance it was part of the game plan to push the ball aggressively before Edey could get in position. I was there and you could see that pass was open a split second earlier. Devo has to hesitate and it ends up getting there late but it wasn’t nearly as a egregious as you make it seem

I expect Devo to average 2 points a game until the tournament then he'll randomly become our best player when the March Madness logo hits the floor.
