Part of that can be blamed on the offense being unable to sustain drives and keep the defense off the field. Yes, we had some defensive breakdowns, but nothing like, say, Tennessee last year, where our offense played at a very high level, but the defense consistently gave up the exact same plays over and over again and we made no apparent effort to stop them.
