Am I overrating Billy D or underrating Scott Drew if I think it's insane to call Drew first if both are interested? Or am I rating them correctly and it is insane?

It’s more that Billy Donovan has been out of the college game for a decade and the game has changed a great deal. We haven’t seen Billy Donovan deal with portal/NiL and his willingness to deal with that. Hes won at the college level already.
He may very well want out of Chicago because they are perpetually spinning their wheels in mediocrity. He left college to go coach Durant and Westbrook and now he has Zach Levine and injured Lonzo Ball. Not great Bob.
All that being said…I highly doubt Donovan would have any issues(especially at Kentucky) with NiL/transfers. But Drew is a known entity and seems to be bought in to being a college coach. Might be as simple as that.

Billy Donovan to UK would be a homerun. He's got the NBA chops and contacts and college jewelry.
