Since Nate Oats arrived. . . 2021 and 2023 SEC regular Season Champs 2021 and 2023 SEC Tournament Champs He has 7 NCAA tournament wins and counting at alabama. In that same timeframe Bruce Pearl has two championships (2022 SEC Regular Season and 2024 SEC Tournament) and two NCAA tournament wins.
Yet you would never know these facts if you listened to Joel Goodman or Michael Casagrande..

Me too! Let me know if you find it...lol

I just did. It was glorious.
BAMA with 7 blocks and outscored Carolina in the paint. If you'd given me 100:1 odds that BAMA would outscore UNC in the paint I wouldn't have taken it.

If I counted right, UNC shot 10 of 18 from 3s in the first half. 2 of 14 in the second half.

We got more guys stepping up now than we did then.
Rylan Griffen's first half literally saved team's bacon. He's a very important player for us - lots of metrics to support that - but I don't know if I've seen him have a half like that before against a quality opponent.
But the man who really stepped up tonight (besides the hero Grant Nelson) was Estrada. He's not a shooter of Wrightsell's pedigree but his ball handling effective scoring on dribble drive was HUGE. Sears was having to expend a lot of effort to stay on RJ Davis, Estrada was low key a huge part of this win.

Roll Tide!!
Teams that can score always have a chance in a tournament format. Add a strong second half on the defensive end and that’s how a one seed falls!

That's the only reason I'm watching IowaSt lose.
2 2 seeds going down tonight.

On a lesser note, the 5 out of bounds inbounds play didn’t work …. Damn that is a Bama curse
