And we should hit bottom in overall defense.
Sorry for the negativity, just too disappointed. Like this team very much and would like to see them go past Sweet sixteen .

Don’t know what we have forgotten. All I know is we will never forget this beating. Kentucky has done this to us a lot but this is special. We came in as the league leader and got treated like a HS team.

Well would you rather be 11-3 in conference or 9-5?
Can't have it both ways, it will be easy for me to forget when we are hanging a banner at years end and they won't be.

I am not an X and O kind of person but would switching to a zone D have helped. Obviously anything different would not have been any worse then given up over 110 points

It’s college basketball. Sometimes you run into a team playing their best game of the season. Today that team is Kentucky who also is loaded with NBA players. It’s like playing the Warriors. Nothing at all we could ever do about it.

I disagree. There is something they could’ve done about it but they ain’t able to do it.

If Dioubate had an outside shot, damn he would be special

Honestly, it's really meaningless. The score gap has already widened significantly. With 10 minutes left in the second half, he is able to score because Kentucky isn't playing defense. He couldn't play defense or do anything on offense until midway through the first half and second half.

KY shooting today was an anomaly.

BAMA got 95 and still got beat by double digits. I hope we see these bitches in the tournament.

Except Dioubate can finish at the fricking rim.

Scored 95 points, shot 57% from the field, outrebounded them and lost by 20

False...
You're not beating anyone if they are shooting like that at home.

Edwards was 10/10. You can't even shoot that in warm ups.

He couldn't attack the rim in the crucial first half. Because Kentucky played defense. Most of his goals came when the game was already over.

Right. Their shooting was the anomaly.
100%

If KY shoots their season avg, BAMA wins that game comfortably.
shite happens, but this game is definitely an outlier by KY, BAMA played up to their avg in every way.

That's why I hope BAMA gets KY in the tournament.

Hard to attack the rim or play defense from the bench. KY was giving the rim to BAMA. Griffen had an uncontested, walk-down dunk off the dribble. How many dunks does he even have this season?

Can't lose games where we score 90+. Just no excuse for that. Defense must improve, and soon.

BAMA made only 6 threes and still scored 95.

That's how well KY played D.
They do that shite in the tournament, and BAMA will win it.

We've been blasted by Auburn, UT, and UK on the road. This team just doesn't have the talent this year for a deep run. Lost 6 straight on the road to ranked teams.
