I was recently introduced to a mustard base BBQ sauce. It's fricking great. Better than most sauces.

Watching some bbq shows for recipe ideas and found a segment with Rodney scott, he was with a guy from somewhere in the midlands and that's the first thing he addressed. Said the peedee was the cutoff and they don't do that mustard mess there.
