I think we’re better. Got some young talent. Unfortunately it takes time to develop. We could be “better” but the record not reflect that. Plus we’re playing a brutal non conference schedule

We are better. Much better. We showed a lot of progress today. Our two losses have been to good and very good teams, in a neutral site that rivals local high school gyms.
Excited to see what happens Sunday now.

Providence is a good team, 3-1 this year and made the tourney last season. Would be a nice win if we can hold on

Missing that layup was horrible.
Tough loss. Feel like we were actually the better team.
Honestly though, our 3 losses this season are to 3 teams that will be dancing in March

I was actually impressed watching the Miami game even though it was a loss I don’t see why we can’t take a surprise win from someone this year

Winthrop is not the Winthrop of old… and UGA can’t score on this team. I’ve seen some of the worst offensive sets I’ve ever seen in basketball. It makes Fox’s brand look like 40 minutes of hell. IDK… if this team can’t make shots, (including layups ffs) they’re gonna lose many games this year.

Thomason with an another 3 to close the half. Winthrop G drove the length of the court and made an acrobatic layup. Dawgs lead by 7 @ the half.

The 2nd half started out promising with good flow and scoring. But as UGA does EVERY GAME… 3-5 minute scoring drought and this bad Winthrop team is right back in it. Ice cold shooting, shitty defense, and lethargic play has yet again plagued the Dawgs.

Whew. Think that layup puts it away. Ran play clock down and took 7 point lead with 28s left. Thought Winthrop should’ve fouled there
