you have this attitude as if aNm is some respected/wanted SEC member

vanderbilt isn't going anywhere and as much as you want to poke fun at them, aNm has accomplished the same as vanderbilt has in football.

This probably is written a bit tongue in cheek, but if you think about it this is getting very corporate and positioning to see who has the best leagues top to bottom. Vandy and South Carolina could be the ones to get replaced by maybe an FSU, and UNC if it happens.

I swear, give LSU fans a C and An A and they still could not spell CAT.

It doesn't matter what you think, if out TV overlords say Vanderbilt is gone, then they're gone. Nothing you can do about it.

First I’ve heard of this. Do tell, who is speculating?

I've read it on different message boards that quote writers and podcasters who believe subtraction is inevitable.

I never said it would happen but thought it was possible and interesting. Our TV partners will want to eliminate anyone not pulling their weight. Whatever they want, they will get.

ABC / ESPN has absolutely ZERO say so about who is in a conference. Your history with the always changing SWC/ Big 12 has nothing to do with the most stable conference in college football, along with the Big 10.It would take a vote of all the conference members to vote them out, and as a charter member, they'd easily have a large majority of the votes, if not all of them. Of course, you aggies think every body can be bought, every body is for sale. That's not the SEC. Vandy has won national championships in baseball. The aggies? Vandy is more than competitive in basketball. The aggies? Vandy football sucks, but then, what championships have the aggies ever won ? Vandy's female sports, for the most part are competitive. aggies?Basketball, mabe.

Yeah when I think of SEC Texas AM just does not fit in the SEC. I see Texas doing fine but AM should just move on now.

You're wrong. Why do you think the SEC expanded? Because ESPN wanted them to. ESPN told the league who to expand with and how much it would be worth. If ESPN wants a leaner but meaner SEC, they will get it.

The only sports ESPN is interested in are football and basketball.
