After this week, it appears we have an answer to the longstanding debate over who the real UT is. The Vols are an aberration to college football and all fans should be castrated immediately. The Gators had their way with them the entire game and Milton looked confused and out of place half the game despite being the "superior" team.
Let's see how the Gators build on this momentum throughout the season.

I'd say that I'm no leaning toward Texas being The Real UT. Can't lose to the Gators and expect to convince me of your claim.

You do realize that both teams have played football for a VERY long time right?
Saying Texas or for that matter Tennessee is the real UT based on the first 3 games of ONE season especially a season in which we just lost our starting QB, two WRs and multiple linemen, on BOTH sides and our most productive linebacker all to the NFL is complete retardation.
Basically our current upperclassmen that are left suck at division one football. Our best players are almost all freshmen and true sophomores.
Everyone left over from the Pruitt years that actually had talent has been drafted already.

Well I guess that is one thing that Texas will bring to the conference. I rivalry with the other UT about who the real UT is.
My suggestion is that they play for the Davy Crockett cap. If Tennessee wins, Davy of Tennessee gets to keep it for the next year's game and gets to be called the real "UT".
If Texas wins, Bevo gets to wear the Davy Crockett hat and Texas gets to be the real "UT" for the year.

If based off of any available ranking system, whether it's academic, football related, or level of national notoriety, UT is clearly Texas. It's not even a discussion outside of TN and this message board.
