Speaking of best ever, think we are a DeBoer NC away from Byrne being in that category. The Ninja is unbelievable

I thought this would be the year Hayslip stepped up in a bigger role … can’t argue with the success of the team so far though

Hayslip
Have heard rumblings that he may be injured again. He dealt with a hand (thumb?) injury last year and had another undisclosed injury the year before that. He’s got tremendous potential but has had terrible luck in staying healthy.

He's got some potential for sure but our outfielders can swing it, plus Hamiter is a 4th outfield option and Swinney has been good at DH. The staff also likes Cole Mizell. Just not a lot of opportunities to be had at this point in the year.

Alabama baseball is a top-10 team for the first time in 18 years, according to the latest USA Today Coaches Poll.
Following a 2-1 series win against Tennessee to open SEC play, the Crimson Tide climbed to No. 10 in the latest rankings. It is Alabama's first top-10 ranking in the Coaches Poll since the 2006 season, when they were ranked No. 9 in the final poll after winning the SEC regular season and hosting a super regional.
Alabama (17-3, 2-1 SEC) was initially ranked No. 17 in the preseason Coaches Poll. The Tide have ascended the rankings every week since then, placing No. 15 in the week two poll, No. 13 in week three and No. 12 in week four.

I watched game two of the Tennessee series and it was apparent to me that the outcome was no fluke. If anything, it felt like the game was less competitive than 6-3 indicates.
