Longhorn win says more about where Texas is than where Alabama is.

Alabama still controls its destiny! Some holes to fix, but nothing devastating. The Longhorns are just really good I suspect.

No, it doesn't.

Bama has serious coaching issues. Wolford, T rob, Hutzler. You got issues, dood.

Before this game, everyone on this board said Texas had no chance because we are an average team.

After this game, everyone says Alabama must really suck because they lost to an average team.

Texas could run the table and win the title and I don't think even that would change the narrative around here.

Close, but not fully.

Assuming they don't lose another game and end up 12-1 SEC champs, if Michigan, USC, FSU, and Texas all go 13-0 and win their leagues none of them are getting left out for a 1-loss bama team.

I think it says more about both programs. Texas is getting better players. Alabama is getting high ranked classes (the numbers/stars), but I don't see superstar players on the field for Alabama as in days past.

This is not true. Watching these teams play, it's clear Texas is getting higher caliber players on their roster. I may be the minority on this board, but they have a shot to win it IMO, provided they have the depth (I don't keep up with your roster).

Alabama is a good team. Texas is clearly better.

Uhhh... Milroe is the worst QB Bama has had in many, many years. Bama could easily lose 2-3 SEC games this year.

Slow your roll. You have to be consistently good to start throwing around those claims. Hang high on the win but dont be surprised if a middle tier Big 12 school squeaks a win over yall…….

We OU fans have seen way more of Texas than any of you SEC fans simply because they are our arch rival and are in our conference.

The main difference between this Texas team (and even last year's defense) is that they are aggressive and they hit harder than any Texas team we've seen in a long time.

And people are complaining about Bama, but their guys were physical as well. As a neutral observer who had reasons to pull for either team (hate for Texas vs. disdain for SEC fans)... I thought both teams were good. Just that Texas had good Quinn instead of bad Quinn and Milroe couldn't match him.

You're not winning anything with that OL. They got bullied by Texas.

That's literally the exact opposite of what the OP said...
