I got down voted a while back because I critiqued Nick Saban's process and I also said there was no way this would be a fair process.
Nick Saban probably took the route of who the players liked most...the players don't always know what's best and we are paying for it.

I agree with you, but I think the reality is Saban won't make a move, and he'll keep Milroe in the entire season without giving the other guys even a sniff at the opportunity.

Honestly this loss isn’t the worst thing that could happen. But I don’t think this team or staff has what it takes to turn a loss into the motivation to win the rest of their games.
The potential exits for this team to lose 3 to 4 more.

The game was frustrating to watch but it wasn't that bad especially if we get better QB play.

I'm not too worried about this game. We can improve with a new QB.
Exactly. We can still win a (weak) SEC and make thr CFP. Maybe this loss is the catalyst we need to make changes to become a NC contender.

Pathetic hiring and planning decisions from Saban. Retread that should have retired over 5 years ago to coach Saban's outdated defensive system. Boring OC that's in over his head.
We played a running back at QB for 4 quarters without a change.
Saban actually thought we could bring back our old ground and pound offense in today's game and be successful.
I appreciate everything Saban did for the program but these off season decisions don't give much promise for the immediate future of the team or the end of his coaching career.
His ego and unwillingness to hire top coordinators that can come and have the freedom to run their own systems caused this. How many times have we heard that coordinators were hired to come run Saban's offense and defense. How about we actually find someone that can coach, has shown success with their own system and let them come and run it.

They clearly were the better team in all aspects. That is the reality.
Better QB, better OL, better DL better DBs, better OC, discipline.
Outcome was not a surprise.
With all our elite recruiting we cannot train and motivate our players. Looks like team has stopped listening.
Let’s see what happens in the next two games, that should be a harbinger for season success or failure.

Should have changed quarterbacks after the first half.

That's on Saban. Been one hell of a ride.

Does anyone actually believe Saban won’t start Milroe next week? I’d say there is zero chance.
If I were Julian Sayin and I watched tonight’s game I would open my recruiting up again first thing tomorrow.

I see three more losses easy if he's the quarterback.

Texas had a better Defense? See you don't know enough.

I'd be surprised, too, if Milroe isn't it.

We can improve with a new QB. I'm not stressing it. Saban gave Milroe every opportunity to lose or take this job. Milroe has lost it.
I think the problem is deeper. Who on that d line is an AA. I don't see anyone that knows they are going to whip the a off their counter part. And the opposing player knows it
I think I line needs some experience but they aren't whipping people. I think Bama lost a culture setter in "yeah Yeah Yeah ".
