Everyone in the Conference has the goal to win their division. Here are the list of those who have done so and their most recent SECCG appearance.
Alabama - 14 - (2021)
Florida - 13 - (2020)
Georgia - 10 - (2022)
LSU - 7 - (2022)
Auburn - 6 - (2017)
Tennessee - 5 - (2007)
Arkansas - 3 - (2006)
Missouri - 2 - (2014)
Mississippi State - 1 - (1998)
South Carolina - 1 - (2010)
Kentucky, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt have yet to make an appearance in an SEC Championship Game.
Good luck to everyone this season.

Well, we still have 2 SEC championships to hang our hat on.

If UGA wasn't rolling right now, UK would be my pick in the East. I think everyone is sleeping on you and your offense is going to be much improved. Defense is always solid with Stoops.

Big 2!

ETA: Figured UGA would've been more times with a down East. Good job to everyone however.

Similar to LSU, we were invisible in the 90s.

Well Kirby has been 5 out of 7 years, so that is damn good.

Hard to get past the UGA juggernaut. Y'all were right there in '18 and '21.

Georgia was pretty bad in the 90s

This. UGA spent the first decade of the divisions era floundering with little to no progress. Couple that with Spurrier’s Florida days and Tennessee having their best decade of the last 50 years and yeah…it was rough

The pace Georgia’s been on division titles-wise since 2002 has been as good as anybody in the league.

SEC East appearances:
Fun fact: Auburn is the only team to play all five SEC East opponents in an SEC Title Game.
We are 1-0 against both Mizzou and S Carolina
We are 0-1 against both Georgia and Florida
We are 1-1 against Tennessee
3-3 overall

UGA was down the first 10 years of the SECCG (the 90's). First SECCG appearance wasn't until 2002. We've had 10 in the last 21 seasons.
In Smart's 7 years as coach, UGA has been in the SECCG 5 times, with the two misses in Smart's first season and in the Covid season.

Was not aware of this. Thanks
Auburn has played 6 times and only one team twice is pretty amazing.

Cam and Auburn beat SC so bad in 2010 that it should count twice. I was there to witness that beatdown.
