I take that slogan as another way of saying “us v the world”

You would think that these people responding would realize that the logo is referring to the hate that Texas is receiving from the conference that they're leaving soon. Nope, they think the shirts mean We hate figs, etc. Idiots. Time for another dildo rally!!
These freaks are so fragile, the word "hate" in any context triggers so many traumatizing memories from being a self hating born loser. These people are so broken & miserable that they would rather burn it all down versus have anyone else enjoy a single moment of happiness or joy.

Can someone please explain to me how this is racist. I’m struggling to understand how making a team slogan using a quote from the head coach to describe how he wants his team to approach the season is racist. This is insane.
Ps. Sarks comments.

I am guessing this is sports-related, but to anyone not in on that, it appears to be a white supremacist message,
quote:
Now, what in the no-Black-people-work-here hell is this? Come on UT. You’re the flagship university of Texas. Let’s do better.
quote:
But it’s easy to believe it could be a racist dog whistle because of all the actual racism and xenophobia coming out of Texas. Not admitting that is willful blindness, hate’s faithful companion.

"I think that they've kind of assumed this mentality of, ‘Embrace the hate.’ We get it. We're the University of Texas, we get it. This is our last year in the Big 12. We can sit there and be a punching bag, or we can go attack the people that we're going to play. And I think that they've assumed that responsibility to say, 'Hey, we're gonna go after everybody else too.' I think that that's the right mentality to have.

I want to observe the behavior of these “people” in the stands of an actual football game.
Going to guess they likely aren’t season ticket holders. But if they are…do they clap? Do they hand out behavior citations? Do they yell on 3rd down? What the hell do they do?

Would love to see this T-shirt slogan and responses to it back in 1983 compared to 2023. It’s sad how real the pussification of America is
“Embrace the hate”on a football t-shirt is racist now. There was probably worse on the Gameday t-shirt every week 40 years ago

So the main Texas apparel store makes a cool shirt, a bunch of anonymous internet bitches complain, and you blame Texas fans? Every Texas fan on our boards loves the shirt. Piss off, fig

Exactly. This doesn't just go for Texas, it goes for everyone that's like this.

I’m confused - thought they were all gas no brakes. Do they have to try and come up with some stupid slogan each year? Weak

I guess they should embrace "the heritage" instead. LOL.

These fricking losers don't go to football games but it's still an embarrassment. I'm about to make a twitter account just to tell Laura to eat a dick, not a white one obviously.

I thought nobody went to football games in Austin? The soccer team is more popular

I remember that hit...injured colts vagina and he had to take the rest of the game to douche it.

I'm with you, dawg.
I won't pass judgement on the Texas fans here, but the righteous indignation in the face of the university's woke, Austins-tic reputation reeks of denial.
