This would make the Trust look worse than they already are. Will never happen unless it's proven he was a murderer in 2012.

Is there a statute of limitations on NCAA violations? Or is it simply that now that it's legal to get paid for signing autographs, what he did is now a moot point?

He did it the year after his Heisman. That first season, when he won, we didn’t even have a bye week all year. It helped bc we started rolling. That team kept getting better.

Last time i checked the award was supposed to go to the best player.

Not accused of anything or admitted to doing anything until after he won the Heisman. All that bullshite in Netflix was post Heisman award.

I was just asking in general. IDGAF about him surrendering his Heisman. I think they need to give Reggie Bush his back. At the end of the day, none of what he (or Manziel) did changed his performance on the field. And they were both Heisman-worthy performances. Money doesn't change that. I just didn't know if the NCAA could sanction TAMU for what was said and admitted in that documentary.

Bush won the Heisman in 2005 but voluntarily gave it back in 2010 after receiving word that the Heisman Trust was likely going to revoke the reward. An agent had been providing gifts, money, and a house for Bush's parents. The agent, Lloyd Lake, sued Bush to get back $300,000 he said was given to the Bush family. Bush is currently suing the NCAA for defamation, saying some of their accusations weren't true. The Heisman Trust has reportedly said they would give the trophy back IF the NCAA clears Bush.
