The winner of the Alabama QB competition might be…Dylan Lonergan? Who saw that coming?

Looking at Alabama QB situation is interesting:

Best Arm Talent: Dylan Lonergan by a mile
Best Running Threat: Jalen Milroe by a mile
Best Intangibles / Leader / Lockeroom: No Clue
Most Effecient / Least Likely to make mistakes: No Clue
Highest NFL Ceiling: Lonergan

This is like 2016 all over when Jalen Hurts came out of nowhere to win the job.

Well with new OC, no one really knows the offense better. Unfortunately for a true freshmen QB, I don’t think the WR talent at Bama will help make things easier for him. Hell Young had to do most things on that offense.

Jalen Milroe = 8-4, Liberty Bowl

Ty Simpson = 7-5, Mayo Bowl

Dylan Longernan = 6-6, Music City Bowl

Surely a low 4 star, true freshman isn't Alabama's best option.

I have to think Buchner (at least) is better.

Live footage of all these SEC fanbases hoping that whoever starts at QB for 'Bama won't be any good.

Despite seeing this kid play last season, there were Bama fans who thought this was real.

You guys have the best players. They’re not good because your coach is on the decline and should be in a nursing home

Just realized that nearly every starting QB Saban's had at 'Bama has beaten the absolute shite out of Georgia.

Why doesn't Kirby have 3 titles? Oh, right.

Crazy that play ended up being the most Tua ever achieved at Bama.

A walk-off throw for a national title? Not too shabby.

After becoming the starter he averaged 2-3 injuries per season, two of which required major surgery. Dude just couldn't stay healthy.
