Mercer isn't a bad FCS team. They'll play someone before us so won't be as rusty, and they were a double OT loss to Samford last year away from making the playoffs.

We'll win, but the first half may be a bit close (something like 28-14 at half).

This summer has dragged and also flown by at the same time . Don’t ask me to elaborate

We are so close. I can’t wait for football.

We just need it to cool off a little bit before games start. shite, just a little even because the Grove and those metal bleachers are going to be downright unhealthy if it doesn't.

I am very excited for this season, much more so than I was last year. We might be one year away from being a great team, but I think we have the potential to make major noise in the SEC this season if Dart improves, the OL doesn't suck, and if our LBers are as good as I'm hearing they are.

It was 70 degrees yesterday in Oxford. The high never got much higher.

We should be better than we were last year. If our D improves at all and our offense doesn't mail it in during big games, we should have a very fun season.

There's a rumor on our On3 site that Deantre Prince was arrested early this morning. Not sure for what.

Damn, what is the deal with our discipline? You know, if true.

Can’t be elite if you don’t have some arrests. Plus, OPD are massive pricks to athletes

Do y'all think Kiffin complains about attendance after the first game or after the Georgia Tech game isn't close to a sellout?

The moment he says something about attendance I hope some reporter has the balls to say he should stop flirting with other jobs if he wants more people to show up.

The students will 100% leave after halftime when ole miss is up 5 scores on Mercer and he will bitch about it.

Bama has the same problem.

Zoomers are just built different (pussies)

Can you really blame them though when it’s 42-7 at 3pm at the hottest part of the day in the stadium after they’ve been there for 3 hours already

The games over at that point. It’s a free country still sort of, they can do what they want . He needs to go easy on them.

Have you ever actually sat in the new NEZ for a full game? Especially when it's hot as frick, it's by far the absolute worst section of seats in any SEC stadium. The students should have never been moved from the SEZ & until they rebuild the NEZ completely or move the students back the SEZ the student crowd will continue to go super low after halftime of games like Mercer.

Also I'd like to point out as someone who goes in sits in the SEZ during these hot games to get in the shade I also see a lot of other students move over there as well. I'm not saying 100% of students would stay if they actually had them in the SEZ for these games but a lot more would have if they didn't move them.
