I have no problem with this. Friday after Thanksgiving is basically a Saturday anyways. I've never worked on that day and never will.

I'm glad they moved it off of Thanksgiving. I'm sorry, family has always taken priority. I was able to attend very few Egg Bowls. I can go to this one.

Same, of all our usual matchups, the Egg Bowl is the one I’ve attended the least because it falls on thanksgiving.

I’m gonna be honest… I’ve enjoyed the Egg Bowl most in Starkville. Whopping that arse there and leaving out is a most gratifying experience.

Last time I went to an Egg Bowl there was 2009. Never will go again. I know State fans are generally good people but their fans showed their asses that day. Called my buddy’s 70 year old mother a “stuck up c.unt” because she walked past one of them trying to give her a sarcastic high five leaving the stadium and had beers thrown on us by some frat stars

It's fun to feel like you are going behind enemy lines, but I've never felt unsafe in Starkghanistan. I suppose there are idiots everywhere though, especially after a few beer sodas.

Cunningham on campus today. I am starting to feel really good about our chances. Someone very close to him thinks we have the edge. Long ways to go but I have a good feeling

2025 offensive tackle Kenneth Boston commits to Ole Miss. 6'8 and 300 pounds out of Monroe, LA.

Ranked as a 3* on Rivals and unranked everywhere else.

Worked out at our camp on Wednesday and dominated enough to be offered a scholarship on the spot.

This is why college football is special. I love it.

Matt Corral coming in to lead a 4th Q comeback in the USFL conference championship. 9/10 for 120 yards and 2 TDs after his first pass was a receiver drop

3* OT Taren Hedrick has committed. From Colombia, Missouri (but plays HS football in Florida) and chose us over a top list of Florida, Kentucky, and Missouri. Also had visits lined up to A&M and Purdue.

My biggest concern coming into the season is too much talent. Can Kiffen control the egos? Will there be conflicts in the dressing room? We have NEVER had this much talent on one team. If the coaches can keep them in line, we are going to be friggin' awesome!!

There will certainly be egos. Large ones and plenty of them, but even just above average guys can have overinflated egos. I don’t know that you can have too much talent, though.

If the offensive line can hold their own I don’t see why the team cannot be successful.
