I heard he is staying home and going to Arkansas

I just watched a clip of his play and an interview with him and he seems to be a solid kid. He’ll do well wherever he goes. It’s good to listen to kids like this. He seems well grounded.

Would be weird if Muss to take a 4 star this early

I know it's just a troll/ coping that you may lose a top 30 recruit from your home state to Dennis Gates, but Muss has taken commitments from worse rated recruits in the summer every single season he's been at Arkansas. And by the way, Boateng would rank in the top 5 highest rated recruits during Muss' tenure at Arkansas. You're not a blue blood with your pick of 5 stars every year - 2022 was clearly an outlier

He learned a lesson two classes ago by taking a ton of HS players. I don’t see Muss ever taking more than two HS players. We aren’t a blue blood but we are one tier below that (top 20 program all time). Mizzou is borderline top 50 program
Muss is the portal king.
He is also known as one of the best developers by NBA scouts
Hopefully Gates can beat IVY league schools this year

Mizzou has put Golfer into a lot of pain.
Had to check himself into rehab last Thanksgiving. Thank goodness Arkansas beat those Jayhawks or his disappearance would still be going.

Yea we beat them for you. We know the Mizzou program can’t do that.
I still demand Mike Anderson and Quinn Snyder get Statues. They did just as much as the guy you named a court after

Way to split with the poverty program like Mizzou.
Way to finish 10th the SEC. Gates had a better overall season with a bunch of mid-major transfers with no time to recruit in his first season than Muss.
Just wait. Dennis will have you crying like our football program has had you crying for years.

This is exactly why Muss isn’t ever going to take that many HS players again. He’s being extremely selective, only going after 5-stars and the occasional in-state 4-star while saving the rest for the portal.
We probably are only taking 1-2 HS kids in this class. Obviously guys like Moses Moody from Arkansas are going to be a take no matter what - Boateng is definitely close to that but they’re doing due diligence.

Boateng is also from Arkansas and is a higher rated recruit than Moody. But if y’all want to claim Muss is being cautious then so be it. If his foolishness leads to Mizzou landing a great recruit who turns into a star player it will be hilarious to watch unfold.

Gates beating Muss: NO

Gates is the loser not Muss!

I don't see any reason why you would downgrade that post. He clearly stated his opinion constructively and yet like the Mizzou troll you are, you go on the defensive!

Muss had 3 highly recruited 4 stars sit the bench last year and played in mop up roles. One left after the season and hopefully the other 2 will pan out.
Muss is bringing in proven talent from the portal, that’s his bread and butter, and it’s difficult for high school players to break the rotation unless it’s the 5 stars we had last season.
But watching film of this kid I hope we can pick him up and hope he hangs around.

I don't think Muss cares about "stars". It's all about if he likes your game or not. Especially on D

Weird because Marcus Allen is an elite defender and athelete.
The perfect kid to take if you have problems with freshman not finding minutes and transferring out.
