If Army was running the true triple option I'd put this in win but some butt clenching category.

LSU by 3 scores and they pull the starters fairly early to let Army make it respectable.

Nah, this is where LSU/SEC defensive speed comes into play.

Go back to 2008, when LSU damn near came off the rails. Jarrett Lee throwing pick 6's everywhere, and the dual defensive coordinators made the D way worse than it normally is.

We played the Peach Bowl against Ga Tech, when Tech was good (9-3) and running that option under Paul Johnson, with probably far more talent than Army would field. LSU won 38-3.

The underlying point is simple enough. If you have team speed, you can destroy the option offense.
