Clemson has men's soccer, rowing, lacrosse and most SEC schools don't. It's won 3 soccer titles.
SEC doesn't seem like a viable option across the board. Clemson in the Big 10 would be pretty weird and the longer travel times would probably hurt recruiting.
I'd like to see the original founding ACC teams stick together and maybe try to lure Maryland back. The conference has a lot of history.
