This is Disney vs Fox Sports. Disney is in the process of selling off part, or all, of ESPN. They won’t do anything that would decrease or monkey with the value of that. We can only hope they spin it out and get away from the woke virus that is crashing what Walt built. All SEC decisions are based on maximizing revenue to each school, plain and simple, plus SEC HQ getting a share of that pie. This plus NIL and transfer portals….

ESPN/Disney took Fox's two biggest CFB brands when OU/Texas joined the SEC -

Fox has been scrambling ever since to secure what that network views as their most valuable brands remaining -

Fox moved UCLA/Southern Cal brands to the B10 to keep control because Fox knew the PAC12 would never be able to secure a viable media deal for members to remain competitive -

Fox navigated the 4-corner schools to the B12 while giving Washington/Oregon a lifeboat to the B10 -

Fox will eventually move the Bay Area duo to the B10 at a reduced payout rate as well and leave out OSU/WSU -

ESPN/Disney won the War by admitting OU/Texas - the rest of these battles are just being fought after the War has been won -

SEC brand is fine at 16 -

ESPN/Disney has no financial incentive to move any ACC school to the SEC until that albatross ACC GoR expires in 2036 or the ACC ceases to exist -
