Alright, let's roll.
We have a lot to prove this year on the field and off it. We have the makings of a great year among ourselves - gotta prove everyone wrong.

Reserved for Questions and for the check in.
Will be updated as soon as possible!
1. How many points do you think we’ll put up in games?
2. Do you see the offensive line improving as the season matches on?
3. What is the biggest question mark on our defense?
4. How do you see us doing at the beginning of SEC play? We face: AU, Arky, Bammer and Tennessee.
Don’t be afraid to say “in!” either!

Doing some reading now
I just feel like there is too much talent on this team for another letdown year.

Young team takes a big step forward. The talent that was put into starting positions later last season and curb stomped LSU continues their momentum. Petrino factors in big time and is worth 10-14 points per game.
10-2
10-2

Good read here about moving into the 2023 season.
Everything Jimbo Fisher said about turning focus towards 2023 season, state of program entering sixth season

1. More than last year which was in the low 20s? Hoping for at least 10+ points per game more.
2. Certainly hope so. They did get a little better as the year went on in 2022 and looked pretty dang good against LSU at the end of the season so that gives me hope.
3. Coverage, I think we have decent pieces on the line and at LB, but curious to see how the corners and safeties shake out.
4. 2-2. I think we get past AU and Arky, lose to Bamma and Tenner.

1. We need to score more than 35 points to win consistently
2. You have to think they will
3. Secondary, specifically corner back. Not worried about safety but we are THIN at CB
4. I haven't the first clue. Depends on if Petrino really runs the offense without Fisher sticking his nose in or not

IN!!! Ready for some Fightin Texas Aggie football!
1. I’d like to see us be consistently in the 30s, I’m not 100% sure how that would rank us nationally in offense
2. Yes, I could see us finishing with a really solid OL
3. LB I’d say, outside of Coop who do we have that’s truly proven
4. I think we shouldn’t be looking past Miami, that’s gonna be our first true test and we’ll have a really good idea about the team and offense after that game

1. How many points do you think we’ll put up in games? Up 25% so around 27-28.
2. Do you see the offensive line improving as the season matches on? Yes, it should be a strength on the team.
3. What is the biggest question mark on our defense? DBs. We need someone to step up and be All-SEC good.
4. How do you see us doing at the beginning of SEC play? We face: AU, Arky, Bammer and Tennessee. 2-2, but winning out after isn't crazy.

finishing 5-7 in a season that you entered ranked in the top 10 will do that to you.....
I'm a little more optimistic this year (still only expecting 8 or 9 wins though) since it seems like our best years in the SEC were ones where we started out with little fanfare and low expectations. Hope we can surprise some teams and rack up some wins.

Been too locked into the Astros, trade deadline, and rare division race. Usually we have it nearly locked up by now.

I'm in wait and see mode. Cannot drink the Kool-aid this year.

Same here, normally I’m the one handing everyone else glasses of Kool-Aid around here. I’m excited for petrino, but I need it to prove itself on the field before I get fired up at this point.

My dad went to the no hitter yesterday. He left early
Not to make this an Astros thread but real quick how do you feel about giving up Gilbert? Seems like we’re committing pretty hard to McCormick and (hopefully) extending Tucker

I’m not necessarily saying drink the koolaid. But I’m definitely excited to have football season back. That’s what I’m most pumped about about! I agree with the wait and see, last year I got my hopes too high. I’m just happy the season is here

I got tickets to see Deion's team for incredibly cheap so there is that. Should be entertaining.
