Being a blue blood isn't worth a hill of beans in 2023.

Some programs are contenders now and most aren't, Notre Dame is not a contender.

That's why many think Brian Kelly will surpass his Notre Dame achievements, LSU is simply a better program present day than Notre Dame is.

agree with that too


My point a few posts above was..Richt got his start Day 1 as a football HC in the SEC. Kelly got to ease in in a smaller division, then 2 other 1A programs for a while, then graduate up to a blue blood. He got a shite ton of OTJ training and practice courses and exam prep and every other metaphor you can think of while richt was thrown into the fire from day 1. Yet kelly doesn't have an obviously better resume.
