Venables: 97 of the 123 players on the roster are first or second-year players.

Big 12 said they're looking at Thursday and Friday nights as days to play their games to increase exposure. That's the most G5 thing ever.

So they have a scrum at media days and this is Iowa State and OU. This can’t possibly be true. We keep hearing how no one in this conference needs Texas or OU. In fact, Iowa State’s AD has been at the forefront of the dagger throwing on this issue.

Damn. How'd the Big 12 think that setup was going to work out?

Both the ACC and Pac are finished leaving the Power 3.

Ftfy

But honestly it's already the SEC and Big10 then a bunch of non power conferences.

How can that be when both Cincinnati and TCU made the playoff?

Once Texas and OU officially leave the Big 12 will likely break up the remaining PAC 12 and take Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Arizona St

If that was going to happen it already would have

quote:

Washington and Oregon will likely head to Big 10

See above

quote:

Big 12 will be in a better position than ACC especially if SEC has any interest in Fla St or other ACC schools

You really are assuming a lot here

This is KU’s last year in the P5. As soon as OU and Texas leave, the XII becomes G5 level.

No doubt. They had to replace OU and TX with commuter directional schools (OK maybe not BYU). Massive drop down in brand names. Theres a reason that none of the PAC12 schools remaining have chosen to jump to the Big XII. Even with USC and UCLA leaving its a step down

TCU made the title game and we weren't blown out.

I like that. I'm gonna use that.

ETAsk: Is Cincinnati in the B12 now? When did that happen? I thought they were Conf USA. I'm catching up, a lot has been going-on apparently. Wait, if so, how is that a good fit? What did they bring to the B12?
