Not even going to read this whole thread but how in the world would Texas go independent? The Longhorn Network was a financial disaster for ESPN no other media platform will give them a contract that would allow independence.

I don't think ESPN even wanted that LHN deal for it's own merits, it was more about leverage on future conference realignment and TV rights deals.
