Well, 'best' is a broad term. Just because they had the most yards might not be the be all that tells all. Nick Chubb, Sony Michel and Todd Gurley are names that jump out at ya from UGA's storied RB history, but one from UGA that gets a bit overlooked is Knowshon Moreno. He only played a couple of seasons so he don't have eye-popping stats, but he was maybe the best RB, since Walker of course, that I've ever seen that could make 'something out of nothing'. It's like he never lost yards. He could get pinned in behind the line with 4 defenders on him and find SOME way to scramble or power through get positive yards. He wasn't huge and didn't have 4.3 speed, but he had some kind of undefinable 'it' factor that most RBs don't have. Just my two cents.

I'm a Carolina fan, and am pretty impartial in this debate all things considered.

McFadden was more dominant than anyone else I'd seen play during that time period. Not sure it's particularly close.

you obviously weren't in Sanford for the 05 game, where you would have seen firsthand that he had closer to 3.4 speed.

That was still probably one of the fastest td runs I've ever seen by an opponent in Athens

he was 6’2 220 and ran a 4.33. He was a 5 star out of high school that usc under Pete Carrol wanted to come play safety. If you don’t know anything about a topic next time just stfu

Derrick Henry and Leanord Fournette were better than all of those UGA running backs

The fact that Knowshon Moreno has even been brought up in this thread is a fricking disgrace

He was good, not great. Would take himself out of games regularly if he got popped hard

Georgia fans are becoming terrible

They sucked for 40 years straight until NiL came and they started paying more for players. Now they think they are the best at everything.
