Georgia fans are becoming terrible

They sucked for 40 years straight until NiL came and they started paying more for players. Now they think they are the best at everything.

He has gone right up between the gaps plenty of times.

Is it a good game (not great) because the Scar defense isn't known as a powerhouse?

Which is leading me to my point about why is Scar the measuring stick for greatness.

This is the only acceptable take in this thread. I’m here for arguments of AP, Henry, fournette, bush all being as good or better than Dmac but people bringing up Nick Chubb? No that would be like me saying Ryan mallet (RIP) was better than Matt stafford. One was great, the other was elite, and you can’t tell by watching the great ones highlight because Chubb and mallet really were great respectively, but when you watch someone like stafford or Dmac it clicks in your head that those dudes are different.

Your point literally makes no sense and just reeks of UGA bias. Most Gamecock fans are going off the eye test against us and think McFadden is the best of the bunch. The stats just help support that argument.

Those were in the highlights.
And as I corrected myself (or tried to), he got through the line untouched.
It is why I compare his style to Reggie Bush.
And why I understand the argument... "who cares about breaking tackles if they can't get a hand on you".
His homeruns on the edge are the same... untouched. His burst is elite (elite is an understatement)... but he often lined up 12 yards behind the line of scrimmage. His burst is elite often because of that run up to the line.

What’s so complicated here? Chubb had more yards in college, he had more yards per carry in college. He’s got more yards in the NFL and more yards per carry in the NFL.

I am willing to say McFadden was better, but when every single stats says the other guy is better..it isn’t an unreasonable take

I don't think McFadden lifted weights much.

He was pretty lean but played bigger than his size.

If we’re going off the eye test it’s between AP, McFadden, Fournette, and Henry. No UGA back makes this list.

He used to play QB and safety back in high school.

I think that’s pretty fair. But I’d drop Fournette and Henry and add in Bush. If we are going off rushing yards and yards per carry, it’s Chubb and it isn’t close. If we are going off one season it’s Henry with Fournette second.

Ah yea I was thinking Bush was older than that for some reason.

I would put McFadden higher than AP because he played on less talented teams with no QB for three years and had to endure the Nutt drama.

I mean if that’s your criteria it’s fournette.

Discussion isn’t stats, it’s best player.

If stats and overall player are synonymous than every Air Raid QB would be considered the best QBs and that’s obviously not the case

Plenty of drama surrounding Houston Nutt off the field.

A running backs job is to gain yards rushing the ball. Chubb was better at this job than all the people named in this thread. The stats are a result of that. Your argument seems to indicate he just had more yards, he did, much like many air raid QBs. The thing is Chubb also had more yards per carry, so unlike air raid QBs who pils up stats throwing more often than others..Chubb simply gained more yards with each carry than the the others mentioned here and did it for more total yards as well.

Lol

You are comparing Chubb's college stats to an air raid QB?

Chubb had a pretty good passing attack his freshman season with Hutson Mason.
But after that, it is Chubb making his own yardage through and around defenders. There is no gimmick to shaking guys off like an old shoe.

Hester vs. Hillis would be a good debate.
