re: Pollack ran his mouth to Saban at NC title game, gets fired 6 months later. Coincidence?

Divisional teams in the NFL play each other twice every year with different results. Again, you deal in “if” and hypotheticals. I deal in reality. You quote ESPN dorks. I quote the greatest coach of all time. I stated you lost to LSU in 2011 with a healthy team and then beat them in a rematch with an injured team and you stated “we outplayed them both games” wtf kind of rebuttal is that? Someone here is legit. And someone isn’t and is inherently biased.

Here’s the thing though - what is the metric system for evaluating injuries?
We can look at a game where those people weren't injured and look at a following game when they were injured.
I've never said their NC wasn't legit.

Since games always play out exactly the same every time I guess we can give LSU the title in 2011, right?

So do we do that in the NFL when the giants beat the eagles in week 4 and then lose in week 7 with some injuries? Do we then use a metric system stating the Giants are still better because they won week 4 with healthy players and lost week 7 with a less healthy team?
Please, answer that question for me.

Was that the guy that Alabama got to transfer there?
I mistakenly added a 2. It was 1 career tackle. I don't remember his name but using a guy with 1 tackle in his career is funny.

Sure he was.
One of your own posters was saying how he was kicked off the team as soon as the charges came to light. But, if you need a rapist to bolster your argument...

I gave you the list. Read it, or get someone else to read it to you.
You gave me a list of back-up players, with the exception of 2 starters, who had little significant contribution to the team.

Which is irrelevant o the 2 Bama/Georgia games.

So, your thesis states that Bama beat UGA in 2021 with a healthy team and lost the rematch with injuries. So Bama is still the better overall team.
In the NFL, divisional teams play each other twice a year. Every year, teams go 1-1 in those 2 matchups. By your rational, if the Giants beat the Eagles in week 4 with an overall healthy team and lose to them in week 7 with some injuries, there is an asterisk and the Giants should still be anointed as the better team? That is your opinion, yes or no?

How? You’re using the variable of injuries as why Bama is better. Why does it not apply to other teams who have injuries? If injuries is the only variable applied then why can’t that same variable be applied to other teams? It only is applicable to the vacuum scenario of Georgia v Bama? Lol what?

We could just take the actual Bama/Georgia games and discuss them instead of using other team, leagues, etc.

But you’ve stated the variable of injuries is the only difference. Bama is a superior team by your logic due to winning when healthy. Correct?

The questions are nonsensical. We have both Bama/Georgia games to discuss and you keep harping about some NFL teams/games. I don't know anything about those teams. It wouldn't matter if I did since the dynamics are different.

The margin of victory in the first game when the injuries were comparable vs the closeness of the second game when the injuries were disparate.

He would have had more if he had not been injured. he was slotted to play a whole lot more. However, if you want to second guess Saban's talent evals be my guess. He is the guy transferring to your school.

However, I have seen several Alabama posters say that Georgia would have won anyway and injuries are no excuse. yet. Here we are.
quote:No I didn't. Just goes to show you what you know of our roster. Besides, there was a nonstarter or two on the list, but our two deep always gets lots of reps. That is probably why our second stringers and walk ons kicked your rear ends. Our players were ready and yours were not. That's a coaching problem.
You gave me a list of back-up players, with the exception of 2 starters, who had little significant contribution to the team.

I have no idea if it's just a few, most, or all Alabama fans who continue to whine about the 33-18 loss. Those who do are sullying the reputation of college football's best team. You're not winning anything by continuing to throw a temper tantrum over losing. It's a loss on top of a loss.
What interesting to me is that typically, that kind of loss would have inspired Alabama. Saban would have recruited harder. The players would have worked harder. Instead, Alabama lost to Tennessee and 4-loss LSU.
Both of them lost to Georgia, by the way.
But I'm sure you've got excuses for that, too.

And yet went .500 in them. Maybe with more stats and team can still lose the game?
So, to get this straight....LSU should have been awarded the tile in 2011 since they won the first game? They already proved it in the first game and we all know what happens in the first game is always what happens in the second game.
