He then follows that up - saying the back ups weren’t good enough to win the game. Defeating your insane comment how “depth and injuries are not related.” Which that statement alone shows your severe lack of knowledge in this game and complete understanding of the sport. Even with your coach saying it.
Again, I don’t know if it’s your Alabama hubris where you can’t just take the loss without excuses or constantly saying “if” — or just your fundamental misunderstanding of basic concepts but you seem to severely lack the baseline ideals of the game. So this is pointless when someone who claims to know football can’t grasp how depth and injuries are related and flat out refuses to comment on times when Bama has won games because it’s backups filled in. You won’t even comment on times Bama’s superior depth has helped them win games when their stars get hurt, so this unfortunately is pointless.

2017 we won our playoff game in convincing fashion and earned our finals appearance where we beat Georgia fair and square on the field

He’s bringing up how the back ups weren’t good enough to sub for the injured players. So yes, they are directly linked. Your coach is saying you lost the game due to depth not being good enough to replace injuries. Please tell me how you can keep making the excuses of injuries when your head coach keeps addressing your point.

I’m waiting for how y’all have had elite depth to overcome injuries in the past but how it doesn’t apply to 2021? Still haven’t had that answer from you yet. Not many others either. Just that Bama won in December so their injuries are an excuse and they were better? Lol. Ok. All if here is “if they weren’t hurt” that’s not an answer. That’s a hypothetical.
