I thought it did. The call on ball 3 was horrible only to call the same pitch a strike a couple pitches later. You can't expect the hitters to adjust when you're that inconsistent in a given AB.

This is one of the few times that I'll say that an official/ref/ump is having a significant impact on the outcome of the game. He's that bad.

Yea it can ruin a game. Both teams have given looks at some questionable calls. Its human nature to just get worse at this point.

The wake pitcher is just a quality lefty pitcher, y’all don’t start complaining early lol

All these teams worked hard all season and most of their youth career for this moment and the umps can even be decent. I share their frustration, its not fair to any of the teams
