Best of luck to him. I think Georgia could have done better, but he has a reputation for being elite pitching assistant

He's not as bad as people have seemed to make him out to be but he has his positives and negatives.
Positives: Exponentially helped pitchers "stuff" (adding pitches and velocity), great mentor, extremely knowledgeable and knows what it takes to succeed at the highest level, improved some pitchers that had a lot of talent.
Negatives: Sometimes calls the game like he has an mlb staff and tries to hard to pitch backwards, kids who didn't have as much talent didn't seem to improve as much, sometimes has had injury problems but at LSU we really only lost 2 guys in season and one more preseason but I don't think that was much on Wes bc he wasn't the coach for long.

Maybe he can't ruin any more arms as a head coach.
