re: Congratulations to the 2023 SEC Baseball Champions

Am I the only one who doesn't really care about the SEC title? Both LSU and Arkansas are national seed locks, their postseason performances are what matters and what these teams will ultimately be remembered by. The SEC title is just a decorative feather in the cap that only gives you bragging rights for like a week. As a Tennessee fan ask yourself would you rather the natty Ole Miss had or the SEC title then getting bounced by ND that you had last year?

I say this even as a lot of our fans on the rant are celebrating the Vandy win and the window still being open for us to win the conference. I mean it's cool but I just don't see it as anything to get worked up about. I'm just ready to see who's going to be in our regional and which regional we get paired with. Hoover to me is just keeping Skenes and Floyd warm with lower pitch counts and seeing if we can't do any final tinkering with the bullpen and lineup before the postseason starts.
