Why isn’t Stetson Bennett regarded as a top prospect?

I hate the dude, but he seems to be under-estimated all the time…
He was awesome at GA for two seasons, he is a winner, smart, tough, very accurate…
I think he will be a solid pro QB and I think the “experts” are sleeping on him…
Still hate him though.

Size and tools mostly. Same thing that gets a lot of really good college QBs.

He has better measurables than most think, but he is old. He's also a total douchebag which has apparently dropped his draft stock.

I think that he's a better prospect than Richardson and Levis, so there's that.

Scouts are saying he may go completely undrafted because of character concerns. Teams know they are drafting a backup and don't want to have someone cocky/entitled in that spot.

He’s an older dude who did his job with the best team. Him on an avg nfl team would be bad, not to mention he’s unlikeable and not very intelligent. Doesn’t bode well for a leader of a franchise.

He's 5'11. If he were starting this season, he would join Russell Wilson as the only two starting NFL qbs under 6 feet. The next shortest starting QB is 3 inches taller than Wilson.

Here is the number of starting NFL QBs by height (for 2022):

5'11 - 1
6'2 - 6
6'3 - 5
6'4 - 10
6'5 - 6

So what does that mean for 5’9” B Young?

I think he could be a solid backup in the NFL if he can keep his head on straight. That's nothing to sneeze at.

I think measurables are too over rated.

How many little guys have to win before people start believing that winners are winners regardless of their size.

Definitely but he’s not a first round or top pick.
