This is why I am not confident in Rees' ability to teach our young QBs.

And I can give you links to guys like Sean McVay falling over themselves about how sound his scheme is and how prepared guys coming from it were to immediately step in and play in the Rams system (Williams and Skowronek).

We'll see.

Who care what Tim Brown says. Kelly tried to hire him and Rees stayed at ND. Rees was his own guy without Kelly. So it’s not like he needed his hand held.

Sean McVay is a great young coach but I'll take the word of a guy who played at the highest level damn near 20 years over McVay's.

LOL get the frick out of here. What laughable nonsense.

Tim Brown played at the highest level 30 frickin years ago. Sean McVay coaches at the highest level, successfully.......right frickin now. He's one of the best offensive minds in the NFL......right frickin now.

Shrugging off his take because it's polar opposite to yours is par for the course. But we get it, you watch stuff outside of Alabama and we're all troglodytes.

Is Brian Kelly supposed to be your standard now? WTF?! Y'all sound weak as hell. Brian Kelly beat a bad Bama team and now y'all think he's hot shite.

I agree, a Super Bowl winning HC doesn’t know shite about fooseball. You're a funny funny guy.

You don't think Tim Brown is knowledgeable enough to speak on how an offense should be ran? McVay is nothing without the players and smart players at that. Tim Brown was a smart WR who is in the NFL HOF. Rees sucks.

Most former players do not have good takes regarding coaches.

If you let former players hire the coaches, 90% of the time you’d end up with the strength coach or offensive line coach as head man.

Then what is there to talk about? You’ve obviously made your decision on the hire.

Compared to Sean McVay? No, I don't think he knows shite compared to Sean McVay about assessing an offensive system and play calling in 2023. I don't think his knowledge of offensive play calling and systems in 2023 holds a fvckin candle to Sean McVay.

Sean McVay and Rees are both coaches who were born on 3rd base. McVay has the decency to admit his grandfather being an NFL head coach helped him to become an NFL head coach so fast. Rees is a scrub hire.

The point was Brown was saying Rees was no good and Kelly was propping him up. I think you missed my point.

I'll take the word of a guy who earned everything he has rather than someone who was given an opportunity that he himself admits he didn't deserve when he got it.

What does that have to do with the fact that he won a Super Bowl? Whether he got his job on merit has literally no bearing on how he has performed after getting it.

I’m not a Golding fan at all… but what will the Steele supporters say when Kiffin scores 50 + on Steele and Golding holds Rees to 21 or less? Will you guys then admit these aren’t great hires? ‘Cause they’re not… and that would be a truly epic failure on the GOAT.
If OM beats Bama 50+ to 21-, I will come on here and congratulate you and admit that "it's over". I don't gamble, but this would be one on which I would load up, if I did.

Tim Brown is a ND and especially a Freeman supporter trying to put the best contorted spin on things. His very example in reference to last year was preposterous. ND averaged 38+ points the last 7 games of the season, including 35 vs Clemson and 45 against the SEC's own hot USCe team. Their lowest total over that span was 27 vs USCw. Most of that was with a bad backup QB, when the starter, who had been out since game 2, returned vs USCe in the bowl, they looked even better. USCe had just beaten UT and Clemson in its previous 2 games. ND scored more than anyone else except for UGA who scored 48.

I know I would take the opinion of Nick Saban, Brian Kelly and Sean McVay, as well as UCLA and other NFL analysts who think highly of Rees, over Brown every time. Brown is just a whining ND/Marcus Freeman shill, whereas, Saban, Kelly, UCLA and another PAC12 program wanted to hire him, i.e., put their money where their mouth is.

Can't tell for sure but you sound like an argumentative fool. You certainly have the analytical capabilities of a fool.
